1. Terminology

• “You”, “your”, “yours”, “candidate”, “customer” refer to any individual or business using our website and services.

2. Business Bookings

If you are booking on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the necessary permission and authority from the business owner to make and pay for services through Construction Scheme.

3. Agreement to Terms

By booking through Construction Scheme, whether as an individual or organisation, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

We may update these terms at any time. Updated terms will apply only to new bookings made after the changes have been published on our website. It is your responsibility to review and accept the latest terms before making a booking.

4. Age Restriction

We are unable to book tests for individuals under the age of 16.

5. Payment

All transactions are processed in GBP (British Pounds).

6. Booking Policy

All test bookings are subject to availability. While we strive to book your preferred time and date, this cannot be guaranteed. If your requested slot is unavailable, we will book the closest available alternative.

Construction Scheme cannot be held liable for any financial loss (e.g., travel costs, missed wages) caused by scheduling changes, test centre issues, or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical failures, centre closures, or identification issues.

7. Booking Confirmation

Customers will receive booking confirmation via email and text message within 48 working hours of submitting a request. If you do not receive confirmation within this time, please contact info@constructionscheme.co.uk

CITB will also send confirmation via SMS for your scheduled test.

8. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Rescheduling: Free of charge if requested at least 5 working days before your test. If less than 5 days remain, a new booking and fee will be required.

• Late Rescheduling: Requests within 5 days of your test can only be processed 48 hours after the original test date has passed.

• Cancellation Fee: A £10 administration fee applies to all cancellations made at least 5 working days before your test.

9. Proof of Booking

Your confirmation email will serve as your official receipt and acknowledgment of your agreement to these terms.

10. Payment Issues

We are not liable if your payment is declined by your bank or card provider.

11. Booking via Construction Scheme

When booking through us, you agree that:

• Your payment covers both the £22.50 CITB test fee and our admin/support fee £22.50

• The time and date you select are not guaranteed but are booked subject to availability.

• Any incorrect details submitted are your responsibility, unless the error was made by us using your correct input.

Our team carefully checks each booking. If there are any discrepancies or missing information, we will contact you before proceeding.

You must:

• Attend your test on time.

• Bring the correct ID/documentation. We do not accept responsibility for missed tests or failure to bring valid ID.

12. What Our Fee Covers

Our booking and management service includes:

• Reviewing your submission to ensure accuracy.

• Arranging your test at the most suitable date, time, and location.

• Sending test confirmations via email and SMS.

• Handling reschedules and cancellations where requested.

Payment must be received in full before we process your booking.

13. Consumer Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

You may cancel your test and request a refund by contacting:

15. Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel bookings, including on the test day, if issues occur outside our control (e.g., power failure, security alerts). In such cases, we will help reschedule your test, but we are not liable for losses or expenses.

16. Rescheduling Your Test

To reschedule, you must:

• Email info@constructionscheme.co.uk at least 5 working days before your test.

• Include your name, booking reference, and three alternative test dates.

Requests submitted after this timeframe cannot be processed until 48 hours after the original test date.

One Day Course Policy

Course Changes and Cancellations

Construction Scheme reserves the right to:

• Reschedule or cancel courses without prior notice.

• Change course providers, locations, or course content as needed.

If a course is cancelled, you will be offered the next available date unless you request otherwise.

Refund and Rescheduling Policy

• Refunds: Available only if cancellation is requested at least 31 days before the course. A £10 admin fee will be deducted.

• Reschedules: Must be requested 31 days in advance.

• Missed Courses: No refunds are given for non-attendance or short-notice cancellations.

• Changing the course location may incur extra charges.

Construction Scheme is not responsible for missed courses due to weather, travel delays, or personal circumstances.

CSCS Card Application Policy

By submitting a card application:

• You confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

• The application fee includes both the £36 CSCS fee and our admin/service fee.

Additional Requirements

We may contact you to:

• Request qualification evidence or a photo.

• Confirm your delivery address or contact details.

If documentation is not provided within 6 weeks, your application may be cancelled. A £10 cancellation/admin fee will apply in such cases.

We reserve the right to cancel any application if eligibility requirements are not met.
